I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed researching, compiling and writing it. My sources were official artist websites, national archive sites, Rolling Stone, The Source, BET, NYT, Pollstar, Wiki, some fan sites, and various old news articles from all over the internet. Hopefully it inspires you to open your Spotify or Tidal and look up some of the artists you aren’t familiar with, or maybe even some of the deep cuts from artists you already know.
Much thought was given to who was represented and I will freely admit, it is a very biased piece of work. I’m sure you have many artists who you think should be up there and this is no slight to them. We only had so much space to work with and some artists are just not readily available on vinyl. Which brings me to a huge thank you to Moondog Records in Las Vegas at 572 South Decatur Blvd

They helped me locate a lot of the albums you see in the piece at QBar SF and are just awesome people! Give em a visit if you’re ever in Vegas!
The piece is protected by a meticulously engineered plexiglass secure covering thanks to QBar SF owner JB and installed with lots of sweat and even some blood by JB, Christian and yours truly! Cheers!
